Ertugrul Bey, also known as Ertugrul Gazi, was a warrior and the father of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. He was born in the late 13th century and is believed to have died in 1281. Ertugrul was the chief of the Kayi tribe of the Oghuz Turks and played a significant role in the establishment of the Ottoman Empire.
